There are few things I love in life, one is a great cup of coffee and second is someone who inspires me. I met Mario through a great friend of mine, It always makes me smile to think of that day walking through the winding streets of Potts Point to find the most wonderful coffee shop, the truth is that if I had of been a barista and owned a coffee shop it would of been just like Gypsy Espresso. What more can i say except you should go there and see what I’m talking about. Very Cool.
I sat at the coffee shop with my notebook and started to draw and write its just an inspiring place. So we started off with the rebranding of the designs and bring this all to life. Wow I really loved working with these guys they are great they encourage ideas and I embraced theirs.
The concept evolved around a very beautiful girl that had to be part of the brief, the first task was to illustrate the pixilated image of that beautiful girl. Lets face it coming from Ireland I have see quite a few Gypsy’s so when it came to the branding it was really just self fulfilling with the whole mystique of the gypsy. I truly loved creating this design, and still to this day we get get so much positive feed back from people all over the world.
We like to call ourselves experts when it comes to coffee shop branding and we done so many over the years, the one thing you have to always bear in mind that we sometimes have limited budgets to achieve goals, but we do paint the picture so when you do get a few more customers we’ll be there waiting to help you move to the next stages with your designs.

Gypsy Espresso Retail Shop Design
Wowwee Design undertook the rebranding Gypsy Espresso’s shop in Macleay Street, Potts Point, formerly Toby’s Estate. The shop design involved a redesign of packaging, eCommerce Website Store and exterior signage and other.
We custom designed coffee bags in various sizes created new custom printed paper cups in two sizes as well as custom menus for both lunch and dinner. Using the theme of the Gypsy we explored various types of point of sale to help launch their new business.

They use only the finest Arabica beans, carefully hand-roasted by their team of coffee experts. It is the culmination of their knowledge, care and skill in all aspects of the process that has resulted in the creation of coffee that is close to magical.
Some simple seasonal soups and salads are available for lunch, all of which appear tasty and inexpensive. Refreshingly, there is no pretention surrounding these food offerings.
