Customer Focused Branding Data Insights Strategies
First of all, it sometimes happens in life when you meet beautiful people. Notably, it makes the design process super exciting, and everyone gets so much more.
In the beginning, Dan & Jodie had a dream to work and spend more time with each other. For this reason, the young couple, both from the corporate world, made a choice and made something extraordinary happen.
They hired a Van and started doing a pick-up and drop off home business within the Sydney Area. And Wowwee, did it work.
Granted, I had just done a similar job and posted it on Google and Social Media. I had done some SEO for the project and posted it on Google. Now for any doubters out there, Google works and wonderfully well. It may surprise you I'm a firm believer in if you're going to sell something make sure you are doing it for yourself first, so you know it works.
When Dan & Jodie came to see me very early in the morning, they unloaded all their ideas and what they wanted to achieve. Accordingly, when I asked them if they had any thoughts of names they came out with 'No Hiccup Pick Up', my first reaction was Wow 'great name'.
The first thing that popped into my mind as a designer is that the idea of spelling words that people write in different ways. Generally speaking, I had to make it easier for people to remember so the focused Branding & Data Insights would work.
Generally speaking, I Knew then that if I could secure the domain nhpu.com.au that would be ultimately the icing on the cake.
Instantly I jumped on-line and was able to buy it for them. By the large, they had not even given me the go-ahead, nor had I submitted my branding quote. Either way, I just wanted to give it to Dan & Jodie, kind of like a present for considering Wowwee Design to create their branding.
As a result, they both had a good feeling that I was the person to do their branding. Thank You Guys You rock!
In the light of the go-ahead like most things in life, I had inspiration hit me this is normal for me. The idea and strategy just flowed out clear as day. Quick Darragh grab the pens and paper!
The design for the logo came from the service that they were offering. We all have items that need moving somewhere at home. Then again, as a graphic designer, I always try and get back to the simplest forms and provide a Measurable Result. Of course, moving and transport are arrows to me, and a house is an icon for a home.
The logo and colours I designed would need to be bold and stand out to get them noticed. We had touched off the idea of shocking pink in the briefing meeting.
However, when I looked into the customer focused Branding & Data Insights, I discovered that most of the users leave these jobs to our female partners. So pink was going to work well for the branding.
There was no other business out there using this colour, and the bold shapes of the No Hiccup Pick Up logo would stand out nicely.
Above all, as a graphic and website designer, I knew that this bold colour system was unique and a great graphic style.
The first part of my strategy was to identify a method to collect data and build a brand for what would typically be a business that would never collect data.
Implementing a website design with trackable forms and also applying QR codes to printed marketing material like business cards and the vans allowed me to provide a measurable result.
Furthermore, I'm sick telling people that Google and Data is the only way forward. Providing clients with a visible and measurable result is excellent for everybody.
However, her is my logic if you know what your customers are looking for, you can provide them with products or services they need. But more to the point as a graphic and website designer delivering customers to my clients overjoys me.
Although this may be true, Collecting data is critical for all business to survive moving forward. Your website design hosting and the backend should have the correct tools. Empowering your business and help you grow. Of course, it should be easy enough to updated and keep it looking fresh. Your website is the new shopfront.
At the same time business is changing, and we all need to adapt, so start thinking of new ways for our digital marketing. Albeit I recommend making a fresh start. Fung Shui your business clear out those old methods and practices.
Of course, data collected and data insights allows us to see the images and content people respond to most. And in my world, we should do more of what works and less of the stuff that isn't.
Marketing these days is a changing arena it is more about a Measurable Result. Data and Insights take the guesswork out of what I like. And what the client wants. In the past, lots of marketing was all guesswork and loads of money behind it.
For one thing, when Dan & Jodie came, they had nothing! In just a couple of weeks, applying modern methods, they have an incredible brand that they feel great and proud to own. To demonstrate my point, people already love the look and feel. The business and jobs are flying in, and it just shows that getting a professional designer makes a huge difference.
To sum up, we paid a lot of attention to details when creating their branding. Another key point was the smart uniforms and caps that advertised what they are selling.
Specifically, the QR code on the van has been scanned over 250 times in just one week! I'm thinking we are going to have fleets of vans on the road by the end of next year. Surprisingly we are just starting, but thanks to our data collection, we are getting better delivering customers every day.
